Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations, cost management, and providing support in Business Development and Sales for the assigned branch. Your primary objective will be to enhance customer satisfaction while minimizing penalty losses. It will be your responsibility to collaborate with the Area Manager in formulating and presenting the branch's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets. You will be required to develop a comprehensive strategy to achieve the set targets and increase the branch's market share. Working closely with the Area Manager, you will assist in creating sales and operations plans on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis at the branch level. Your role will involve monitoring the competition, providing insights on services, and utilizing this information in the AOP planning process. You will play a crucial role in managing the branch's operations cost, preparing periodic cost Management Information System (MIS) reports, and presenting the branch budget for approval by top management. Monitoring and analyzing MIS reports regularly, you will provide updates during branch reviews and ensure thorough investigation and reporting of any shortages. Additionally, you will maintain a pipeline of inquiries, track conversions, and respond to sales proposals and Request for Proposals (RFX). Collaboration with the Network Planning team will be essential in suggesting route restructuring for increased operational efficiency. You will ensure the timely resolution of escalated calls within the defined Turnaround Time (TAT) to minimize penalties and maintain a high level of branch performance. Furthermore, you will support internal and external auditors during audits, address any challenges uncovered in a timely manner, and coordinate with the Business Development and Sales team to resolve service delivery issues. Ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintaining updated route mapping will also be part of your responsibilities. Your role will involve managing branch operations according to established norms, ensuring the security and safety of the branch and its personnel, and conducting feasibility studies for new business initiatives. You will work towards maintaining client relationships, meeting client expectations, and enhancing operational efficiency. This is a full-time, permanent role with benefits including health insurance, leave encashment, and Provident Fund. The work schedule will be in the morning shift at an in-person work location.,
