Job Description

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive BOSIET training programs, covering topics like offshore hazards, emergency response, and escape techniques.
Facilitate practical exercises, including HUET drills, lifeboat operations, and firefighting simulations.
Assess delegate performance, provide constructive feedback, and issue OPITO certifications.
Maintain and operate training equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Conduct refresher courses (e.g., FOET) and support custom training for clients.
Travel to offshore simulation centres or client locations as needed (up to 40% travel).
Contribute to quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement of training delivery.

Requirements

Essential:

Instructional qualifications (e.g., Train the Trainer, Assessor awards like A1/V1).
Strong knowledge of offshore safety regulations (e.g., OPITO standards, SOLAS, IMO).
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to manage groups in high-stress simulations.
Physical fitness to demonstrate HUET and survival exercises
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and travel internationally.
For ex-service personnel, all training will be provided.
