Job Title: US Bookkeeper


Job Purpose:

To provide high-quality bookkeeping services to US-based clients each month, ensuring accurate and timely financial records. This role involves data entry, preparing monthly financials, reconciling accounts, and client communication to support the financial needs of real estate investors, stock traders, and business owners.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Bookkeeping Tasks:

  • Maintain bookkeeping records for various client companies.
  • Record financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks
  • Enter income, expenses and other transactions into QuickBooks based on client-specific guidelines and prepare, print, and send out monthly financials.
  • Reconcile client accounts to ensure accuracy. Resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of client data at all times


2. Team Communication:

  • Collaborate with a US-based team member to gather supporting documents and address any questions related to financial records
  • Ensure clear and timely communication to support the delivery of financials


3. Additional Duties:

  • Partner with our global team to ensure efficient client service delivery and fulfillment of client requirements.
  • Perform all other duties that may be assigned by Company management from time to time.


Required Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2 years of experience with QuickBooks (Desktop and Online preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Moderate knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • General accounting knowledge (understanding of debits and credits).
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with US-based accounting


Performance Metrics

  • Accuracy and timeliness of monthly financials and account reconciliations
  • Compliance with client-specific bookkeeping guidelines and US GAAP
  • Responsiveness and clarity in communication with US team members
  • Quality and completeness of financial data entry in QuickBooks
  • Consistent maintenance of client data confidentiality and security
