Bookkeeper & Accountant (US GAAP)

Bookkeeper/Accountant

• Own bookkeeping cycles:

  monthly, quarterly, and year-end close

• Maintain the general ledger; post journal entries and ensure correct classifications
• Complete bank/credit card reconciliations; perform cleanup/corrective entries when needed
• Prepare and deliver reporting packs:

  Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow

  (as applicable), and supporting schedules

• Communicate directly with clients

  to request missing documents, clarify transactions, and close open items

• Send reports to clients

  with clear summaries of key movements/variances and action items
• Coordinate with the tax team to provide tax-ready books and schedules supporting

  workflows and related state needs
• Maintain documentation and support files to respond to audit/accounting information requests; contribute to

  risk assessment

  and assurance support where applicable
• Ensure processes reflect US

  GAAP awareness, audit standards, and relevant US regulations

  ; collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete deliverables

• Accounting Software:

  QuickBooks or similar

• Spreadsheet Tool:

  Microsoft Excel (MS Office)

• Document Management (receipts/statements):

  Dext or similar

• Tax Handoff / Firm Tax Platform:

  CCH Axcess or similar

• Strong US bookkeeping capability with disciplined close processes
• Strong client communication (email/calls), follow-up habits, and deadline ownership
• Working awareness of compliance-driven bookkeeping;

  SALT compliance exposure is a plus
