Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Interaction

  • Greet customers and understand their body repair requirements.
  • Inspect vehicles to assess damage and prepare accurate job cards.
  • Explain repair process, timelines, and cost estimates to customers.
  • Provide regular updates regarding repair status.
  • Handle customer queries and ensure a positive experience.

2. Insurance Coordination

  • Guide customers through insurance claim procedures.
  • Coordinate with insurance surveyors/assessors for claim approvals.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation for insurance claims.
  • Ensure correct billing as per insurance guidelines.

3. Job Estimation & Documentation

  • Prepare repair estimates using DMS or estimation software.
  • Create and maintain job cards, gate pass, delivery notes, and other documents.
  • Ensure accuracy in parts, labour, and paint estimation.

4. Workshop Coordination

  • Communicate repair requirements to bodyshop technicians and painters.
  • Follow up with the workshop for job progress and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure availability of required parts and materials.
  • Maintain workflow for on-time vehicle delivery.

5. Quality & Delivery

  • Conduct final vehicle inspection before delivery.
  • Ensure repairs meet OEM standards and quality guidelines.
  • Arrange vehicle cleaning and polishing before handover.
  • Obtain customer feedback at delivery.

6. Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain daily reports on job status, delivery, and pending insurance cases.
  • Update DMS (Dealer Management System) regularly.
  • Follow dealership processes and compliance standards.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Technical understanding of body repairs, denting, painting, and vehicle structure.
  • Knowledge of insurance claim processes.
  • Ability to create repair estimates and documentation.
  • Good coordination and follow-up skills.
  • Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer and DMS knowledge.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma / Degree in Automobile Engineering (preferred) or relevant field.
  • 5 years of experience in body shop operations / service advisor role.
  • Experience working with automobile dealerships (OEM) preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
