Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Blow Mould Tool Maker and 3D Designer with a proven track record of 10–15 years in the blow moulding industry. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of toolmaking, 3D design software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA), and experience creating and interpreting technical diagrams. This role involves designing, manufacturing, maintaining, and modifying mould tools to produce high-quality plastic components. Key Responsibilities:Tool Making & Mould Development Design and manufacture blow mould tools (extrusion, injection-blow, or stretch-blow moulds). Perform tool fitting, maintenance, and troubleshooting of existing moulds. Ensure precision and quality in mould dimensions, tolerances, and finishes. Use CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and EDM for fabrication. 3D CAD Design & Technical Diagrams Create detailed 3D CAD models of moulds and components. Interpret and produce technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics . Collaborate with product development teams to refine and improve design concepts. Optimize mould designs for manufacturability and cycle time reduction . Project Management & Collaboration Lead or support tooling projects from concept to completion. Liaise with engineering, production, and quality control teams . Recommend design changes to improve performance, cost, and efficiency. Assist in tool cost estimation and procurement planning. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong hands-on experience in blow moulding processes and tool fabrication Proficiency in 3D CAD software: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Siemens NX, CATIA , etc. Knowledge of plastics materials and processing parameters Excellent technical drawing interpretation and GD&T knowledge Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Familiarity with ISO, safety standards, and quality systems in manufacturing Education & Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Tool & Die Making / Plastics Engineering Certified training in CAD design or toolroom practices (preferred) Preferred Experience: Experience in packaging, consumer goods, or automotive plastics Familiarity with CNC programming (CAM software) Previous exposure to product lifecycle management (PLM) tools INTERVIEW LOCATION : #6 PHASE III , Sriram nagar, near Balaji street , cheran ma nagar , coimbatore -641048 Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Paid sick time Paid time off Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Night shift Rotational shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Yearly bonus Ability to commute/relocate: Palladam, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: 3D DESGINER : 10 years (Required) MOULD MAKING: 10 years (Required) Work Location: In person
