Blockchain & DeFi Engineer (Sui & Cetus)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Blockchain & DeFi Engineer to join our team and help us build on the Sui blockchain, leveraging key protocols like Cetus to create secure, scalable, and high-performance products.

The Role:

As a Blockchain & DeFi Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of our core dApps and smart contracts on the Sui blockchain. You will play a crucial role in designing the architecture of our protocols, implementing complex on-chain logic, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems. A deep understanding of the Sui ecosystem and direct experience with Move and its object-centric model is essential. Experience with DeFi protocols, particularly the concentrated liquidity model of Cetus, is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts on the Sui blockchain using the Move programming language.
• Architect and implement core DeFi primitives, including AMMs, lending protocols, and other financial applications.
• Integrate and interact with existing Sui ecosystem protocols, with a specific focus on liquidity and trading protocols like Cetus.
• Perform rigorous unit testing, integration testing, and security audits of smart contracts to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with the front-end team to ensure seamless and efficient integration of our dApps.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Sui and broader blockchain ecosystems and propose innovative solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Contribute to the overall product strategy and roadmap.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a blockchain or smart contract developer, with a strong portfolio of deployed projects.
• Expertise in the Sui blockchain's architecture and a deep understanding of its unique features, such as parallel transaction execution and the object-centric model.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the Move programming language.
• Direct experience with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and concepts (DEXs, liquidity pools, yield farming, etc.).
• Practical experience with the Cetus Protocol or other concentrated liquidity market makers (CLMMs) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and security best practices for smart contract development.
• Familiarity with Web3 development tools and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Bonus Points:

• Contributions to open-source Move or Sui projects.
• Experience with other Move-based blockchains (e.g., Aptos).
• A strong presence within the blockchain community (e.g., active on Twitter, Discord, or a personal blog).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
