Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage

    Blackboard Learn

    (user accounts, roles, permissions, course content)
  • Ensure uninterrupted LMS functionality & resolve technical issues quickly
  • Support and train

    faculty & students

    on Blackboard usage and best practices
  • Coordinate LMS upgrades, patches, and performance monitoring
  • Integrate Blackboard with

    SIS and third-party tools

    (Zoom, Teams, Google Workspace, LTI, SSO, APIs)
  • Maintain course structure, templates, and digital learning assets


Primary Skills Required:

  • 9+ years of hands-on experience

    with Blackboard Administration
  • (Experience with Canvas, Moodle, To also acceptable)

  • Integration expertise

    – API, LTI, SSO, SIS
  • Strong

    technical troubleshooting

    & understanding of IT infrastructure
  • Proficiency in

    Blackboard System Administration

    , content management & analytics
  • Experience in

    higher education / academic environments


Secondary / Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of

    Learning Tools Management

    & education technology trends
  • Familiarity with

    SCORM/xAPI

    , course authoring tools (Storyline, Captivate)
  • Basic

    database & server

    knowledge (SQL, Linux/Windows environment)
  • Experience in

    training material development

    and user documentation
  • Project coordination & vendor management skills
