Biomedical Engineer

As a Bio-Medical Engineer at FIMS Hospital in Sonipat, your role will involve the installation, calibration, and maintenance of biomedical equipment and machinery. You will be responsible for conducting regular preventive maintenance checks to ensure the functionality and safety of the equipment. Troubleshooting and repairing medical devices as needed will also be part of your duties. You will play a key role in assisting in the procurement of new equipment by evaluating and recommending appropriate options. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements for biomedical devices is crucial. It will be your responsibility to maintain detailed documentation of equipment performance and service history. Collaboration with clinical and technical teams to address equipment-related issues effectively is also expected. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Diploma or Degree in Bio-Medical Engineering and have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a hospital or healthcare setup. Strong technical knowledge of biomedical equipment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Good communication and teamwork abilities will also be beneficial.
