Location: Kharadi, Pune

Job Purpose:

The Biomedical Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and management of all medical and laboratory equipment in the hospital. The role ensures the safe, efficient, and effective functioning of biomedical devices to support patient care and clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance & Management:
• Install, calibrate, and maintain all medical equipment, including imaging systems, ventilators, monitors, dialysis machines, and laboratory instruments.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance and timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment service, maintenance schedules, and performance logs.
• Technical Support:
• Provide technical support to clinical staff for equipment operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions quickly.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repairs, spares, and upgrades.
• Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure all equipment complies with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and statutory regulations.
• Implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and equipment misuse.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and NABH / ISO compliance activities.
• Procurement & Inventory Management:
• Assist in evaluating and procuring new biomedical equipment.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, consumables, and service contracts.
• Monitor equipment lifecycle and recommend replacements as needed.
• Training & Documentation:
• Train hospital staff on proper usage of biomedical equipment.
• Prepare manuals, SOPs, and technical documentation for reference.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a hospital or clinical engineering environment.
• Knowledge of medical equipment, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with NABH / ISO standards preferred.

Pay: ₹9,635.18 - ₹51,003.76 per month
