Position: Hospital Plumber
Department: Maintenance / Engineering
Reports To: Maintenance In-Charge / Facility Manager
Location: Kharadi, Pune

Job Purpose:

The Hospital Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems throughout the hospital. This includes water supply, drainage, sewage, and other related plumbing infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plumbing Maintenance & Repair:
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, taps, faucets, and water supply systems.
• Fix leaks, clogged drains, broken pipelines, and sanitation fixtures promptly.
• Ensure all plumbing systems in patient areas, wards, ICU, OT, and other departments are functional.
• Preventive Maintenance:
• Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to prevent breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance of pumps, water tanks, and drainage systems.
• Compliance & Safety:
• Follow hospital safety standards while performing plumbing tasks.
• Ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are maintained in all areas of work.
• Comply with local water and sewage regulations.
• Coordination & Reporting:
• Coordinate with the maintenance and housekeeping teams for timely completion of plumbing work.
• Maintain records of plumbing repairs, maintenance schedules, and materials used.
• Report major plumbing issues to the Maintenance In-Charge immediately.
• Materials & Tools Management:
• Handle plumbing tools and equipment safely.
• Request and manage inventory of plumbing materials required for repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; formal training or certification in plumbing is preferred.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in plumbing, preferably in a hospital or large facility.
• Knowledge of water supply, drainage systems, and basic maintenance procedures.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
