3. Responsibilities & Outcomes

At Plenum, teachers are expected to:

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with Cambridge standards & school academic plans
• Submit lesson plans on time (≥90%) and track student progress through fair assessments and timely feedback
• Act as mentors in discipline, values, and life skills, modeling Plenum’s

• Contribute to hostel supervision, student activities, and pastoral care in a boarding school environment
• Embrace professional development, English immersion, and technology adoption

4. Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate/Postgraduate in

  Biology, Life Sciences, or related field

  ;

  B.Ed

  preferred.
• Strong foundation in

  conceptual and practical teaching of Biology

  (activity-based, lab-based, and experiential learning methods).
• Ability to design and conduct

  experiments, demonstrations, and field-based learning

  to build curiosity and capability.
• Understanding of

  adolescent psychology

  and ability to coach teenagers with empathy and authority.
• Patience, consistency, and creativity in making complex scientific ideas accessible.
• Experience in

  lab management, research projects, or guiding student science fairs

  is a plus.
• Ability to establish classroom routines and discipline that encourage

  scientific thinking rather than rote memorization.

• Strong

  English communication skills

  (training support available).
• Proficiency with technology and willingness to integrate

  smart classrooms and digital tools

  .
• Boarding school experience is a plus.

5. Remuneration & Perks

• Salary Range:

  ₹30000 – ₹45000 per month
