Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Bio-Medical Engineer based in Ahmedabad. The Bio-Medical Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of medical equipment to ensure its proper functioning. Responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare teams to assess equipment needs, managing repair schedules, maintaining records of compliance and maintenance activities, and staying updated on the latest healthcare technologies to improve patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Biomedical Engineering principles and practices, along with expertise in troubleshooting and maintenance of medical equipment.
• Proficiency in calibration, safety checks, and equipment performance testing to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Good understanding of technical documentation, equipment manuals, and operational procedures.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with healthcare teams and vendors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field is required; prior experience in a hospital setting is advantageous.
• Problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude with attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety standards.
• An understanding of healthcare standards and medical device regulations is highly preferred.
