BIM Lead

The Lead BIM role at Buildcast Solutions Pvt Ltd is pivotal in driving the adoption and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies to enhance the design, planning, and execution of precast construction projects. This position supports the business unit’s strategic focus on delivering innovative infrastructure solutions by leveraging advanced modeling tools like Tekla to optimize project workflows, improve accuracy, and ensure seamless collaboration across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of BIM models for precast construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and project management, to integrate BIM workflows into project execution.
• Utilize Tekla software to create detailed 3D models, perform clash detection, and generate construction documentation.
• Establish and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the business unit.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members on BIM tools and methodologies.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, including contractors and consultants, to ensure alignment on BIM deliverables.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BIM implementation, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous innovation.
• Support the Head Engineering in strategic planning and decision-making related to BIM adoption and technology investments.
• Ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs to meet project milestones and client expectations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technologies to maintain a competitive edge

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proficiency in Tekla software and other BIM tools, with a strong portfolio of precast modeling projects.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in BIM management, with a focus on infrastructure or construction projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing BIM workflows and standards in large-scale projects.
