Description
Model Coordination: Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models to ensure design consistency and clash-free integration. Clash Detection & Resolution: Run clash detection using tools like Navisworks or BIM 360, and collaborate with teams to resolve conflicts. Project Setup & Template Management: Set up BIM project templates, ensure consistent use of standards, and manage project folder structures. Standards Compliance: Ensure all models comply with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), client requirements, and relevant project standards. Team Support & Training: Provide technical guidance to modelers and team leads; conduct training on BIM tools, workflows, and best practices. Data Management: Maintain accurate and organized model data, ensuring the correct use of parameters, families, and naming conventions. Coordination Meetings: Lead or participate in coordination meetings to review model progress, issues, and update logs. Issue Tracking & Reporting: Track design issues, manage model health, and report coordination progress to project managers or clients. Software Expertise: Work proficiently in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and other relevant BIM tools; troubleshoot software issues when needed. Documentation & Deliverables: Ensure timely submission of BIM deliverables like federated models, coordination reports, and 4D/5D outputs if required.
