Job Description

Job Summary:

The Billing Executive is responsible for managing customer billing, processing invoices, handling cash/card transactions, and maintaining accurate sales and inventory records. The role requires high attention to detail, good communication skills, and proficiency with billing software and POS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and generate customer bills/invoices accurately and promptly.
Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment modes responsibly.
Maintain daily cash register and ensure proper reconciliation at the end of each shift/day.
Coordinate with the sales team to verify item codes, pricing, and discounts before billing.
Update and maintain billing data in POS / ERP system.
Issue credit notes, debit notes, and handle exchanges or returns as per company policy.
Ensure that all billing documents and reports are filed and stored properly.
Assist in daily sales reports, cash handover, and tally with accounts.
Maintain a polite, professional attitude while dealing with customers.
Support inventory audits and stock reconciliation when required.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Tally, Marg, or POS systems).
Strong numerical and data entry skills.
Excellent communication and customer service attitude.
Basic knowledge of accounting and taxation (GST).
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Trustworthy and punctual.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
