Billing Engineer – Madurai

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Engineer to join our team for the Yathra Construction Project in Madurai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing all billing-related documentation, ensuring accurate measurement of work executed, and coordinating with site teams, contractors, and clients for timely bill submission and certification. The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of construction practices, and the ability to handle project billing efficiently from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare RA (Running Account) bills, contractor bills, and client bills as per project progress.
• Conduct on-site quantity measurements and verify work executed against drawings and BOQs.
• Prepare cost estimates, material reconciliation reports, and quantity take-offs.
• Coordinate with the site engineering team, procurement team, and contractors for billing inputs.
• Verify subcontractor bills and ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all billing records and project transactions.
• Ensure timely submission of bills and follow-up for approvals and payments.
• Assist in preparing project cost control reports and cash-flow statements.
• Support audit requirements with all necessary documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in billing, quantity surveying, or cost management (construction industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of billing procedures, BOQ, rate analysis, and quantity estimation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and billing/ERP software.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
