Billing Engineer

Job Description

As a Billing Engineer specializing in waterproofing projects, you'll be responsible for preparing and managing billing documents, ensuring accurate quantity calculations, and coordinating with clients and contractors to facilitate timely payments for waterproofing work, while verifying the work done against project standards. Here's a more detailed breakdown of the responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Quantity Calculation & Verification: Accurately measure and calculate the quantity of waterproofing materials used and work completed. Verify that the work being billed for has been completed according to project specifications and standards. Bill Preparation & Submission: Prepare and submit Running Account (RA) bills based on work progress, material consumption, and labor involved. Prepare and submit final bills for waterproofing projects. Prepare and maintain accurate billing records. Client & Contractor Coordination: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding payments. Address any billing-related queries or issues promptly. Verification of Work Done: Conduct site visits to physically verify the quality and quantity of waterproofing work completed. Ensure that all work is in compliance with project specifications and standards. Other Responsibilities: Study Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and specifications to understand the project scope. Identify and prepare extra items or variations in the work. Prepare monthly reconciliation statements of building materials. Prepare and process subcontractor bills. Ensure proper data entry and analysis in relevant software (e.g., ERP, SAP). Obtain client approvals for bills. Provide billing-related information and documentation to clients as required.
