Billing Analyst

As a Billing Analyst at our company, your role will be crucial in ensuring seamless, accurate, and timely billing operations while providing critical insights that enhance business decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to align billing with financial reporting and reconciliation efforts - Create recurring billing dashboards and ad hoc reports using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools with embedded AI features - Use AI-based pattern detection tools to identify anomalies in MRR, churn, and upgrade/downgrade flows - Identify inefficiencies in billing workflows and propose automations or low-code solutions for improvement - Document billing processes, system configurations, and best practices to create a detailed knowledge base for the team - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing processes and data integrity - Participate in special projects, including system upgrades, billing enhancements, and new feature implementations - Share AI tool suggestions or prompt techniques that reduce manual effort and improve cross-team responsiveness Qualifications Required: - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex billing data and provide meaningful insights - Comfort using spreadsheets, finance systems, and introductory AI tools - Experience with process documentation and improvement - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Bachelor's degree in Accounts, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field About Vendasta: Vendasta is on a mission to build the most trusted AI-powered platform for small businesses and the partners who support them.
