Description
Design and maintain scalable data architectures supporting analytics, reporting, and data science use cases. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and Spark jobs for data processing and transformation. Architect and implement data pipelines integrating structured and semi-structured data from diverse sources. Collaborate with BI teams to deliver insightful dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI. Define data governance practices, including data lineage, cataloging, and quality checks. Guide data modeling efforts (3NF, dimensional, star/snowflake) for warehouses and analytical layers. Enable data integration and deployment on cloud platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience in SQL, Python, and distributed data processing using Apache Spark. Proven ability to deliver business insights through data analysis and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI. Proficiency in data modeling techniques and building scalable ETL pipelines. Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and associated services. Solid understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data cataloging tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation). Knowledge of best practices in data privacy, security, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
