Position Overview

Bid Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • RFP Intelligence & Market Analysis:

    Gather, analyse, and track RFP opportunities in the US cybersecurity market, using intelligence to anticipate client needs and strengthen proposal strategies.
  • Develop Winning Strategies:

    Formulate effective, client-focused strategies for securing high-value contracts, leveraging competitive insights.
  • Bid Planning & Resource Management:

    Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure resource availability, compliance, and timely delivery of bid submissions.
  • Team Leadership:

    Assemble, guide, and manage bid teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to deliver quality outputs.
  • Proposal Development:

    Analyze tender/RFP documents, prepare tailored case studies, and refine previous tenders to meet specific client needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    Lead virtual bid teams, engaging with sales, marketing, product, finance, legal, commercial, and delivery/project management teams.
  • Win Strategy Alignment:

    Work closely with sales leads to define win themes and ensure they are clear, compelling, and aligned with client priorities.
  • Commercial Management:

    Prepare and review commercial elements of bids, ensuring all services/products are correctly priced and positioned.
  • Compliance & Submission:

    Ensure all bids are compliant with RFP requirements, commercially sound, and submitted on time.
  • Industry Expertise:

    Apply knowledge of cybersecurity services, solutions, and industry best practices to strengthen proposal competitiveness.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 810 years of proven bid management experience in the US region, preferably in cybersecurity, Big4 consulting, or technology sectors.
  • Strong track record in RFP intelligence gathering and competitive analysis.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end bid lifecycle and proposal management methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with bid management tools, RFP tracking systems, and MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
