BI Evangelist (Superset)

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the

  go-to expert

  for BI, data visualisation, and self-service analytics.
• Partner with business stakeholders to design and deliver

  impactful dashboards, reports, and insights

  .
• Translate business needs into

  data requirements

  and optimised

  SQL queries

  .
• Evangelise

  best practices

  for dashboard design, data storytelling, and performance optimisation.
• Lead the

  transition and adoption of Apache Superset

  , including training, documentation, and proof-of-concepts.
• Collaborate with

  data engineering teams

  to ensure reliable, high-quality, and accessible data models.
• Evaluate and recommend

  visualisation techniques and features

  that drive adoption and usability.
• Serve as an

  advocate for data literacy

  , empowering non-technical users to confidently leverage BI tools.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience

  in BI / Analytics roles.
• Deep expertise in at least one

  major BI tool

  (Tableau, Looker, Qlik, Sigma BI, etc.).
• Strong

  SQL skills

  , with the ability to write complex queries for transformation and analysis.
• Proven experience designing

  scalable, intuitive, and impactful dashboards

  .
• Excellent

  communication skills

  , able to bridge technical and business perspectives.
• Demonstrated ability to

  champion BI tool adoption

  and foster a

  data-driven culture

  .
• Curiosity and eagerness to

  upskill on Apache Superset

  and evangelise it internally.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to

  Apache Superset

  or other

  open-source BI tools

  .
• Familiarity with

  cloud data warehouses

  (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).
• Understanding of

  dimensional modelling

  and modern data stack concepts.
• Experience running

  workshops, training sessions, or community initiatives

  around BI.
