Job Description

Behaviour Therapist (BT/ABA Therapist) TFS is hiring freshers or 1-2 yrs of experience for the position of Behaviour Therapist.

Role:

Behaviour Therapist (BT / ABA Therapist) – Requirements

• Implement behaviour intervention plans (BIPs) using principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to address communication, social, behavioural, and adaptive skill challenges.
• Conduct functional behaviour assessments (FBAs), identify triggers, and develop proactive and reactive strategies for behaviour management.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions focusing on behaviour modification, social skills training, emotional regulation, play skills, and independence in daily routines.
• Collaborate closely with psychologists, special educators, speech and occupational therapists to ensure integrated and holistic progress for each child.
• Maintain accurate session records, behaviour data, and progress reports; regularly review and adjust strategies based on data-driven outcomes.
• Educate and support parents/caregivers through training sessions, modelling techniques, and providing home-based behaviour plans for consistency across environments.

Specific Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioural Science, Child Development, or related field; certification/training in ABA preferred.

Skills: Understanding of behaviour principles, reinforcement strategies, and behaviour modification techniques. Ability to conduct behaviour assessments, record data accurately, and implement individualized behaviour intervention plans (BIPs). Experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, Developmental Delays, behaviour challenges, or other developmental conditions.
Other Requirements:

• Good English Communication skills
• Consistency, ability to follow protocols, group management, empathy, planning & documentation skills, clear speech, empathy, strong communication with parents.
• Basic computer use, MS Excel, Google Drive/Docs, documentation, teamwork, leadership qualities.

Experience: Freshers welcome; pediatric experience preferred.
