Job Description

Job Summary:

Business Development Manager (BDM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:

    • Conduct

      cold calls

      to identify and qualify potential clients across industries.
    • Generate leads through outbound efforts, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and networking events.
    • Maintain a steady flow of new opportunities to support sales targets.
  • Cloud Services Sales:

    Drive business for Azure services including:
    • Cloud Migration

      (Lift-and-Shift, Re-architecture)
    • Cost Optimization

      (FinOps, Reserved Instances)
    • Security Services

      (IAM, Compliance, Threat Protection)
    • Managed Support Services

      (Monitoring, SLA-based Support)
  • Client Engagement:

    Build relationships with CXOs, IT heads, and decision-makers to understand business needs and position Azure solutions.
  • Partner Collaboration:

    Work with Microsoft India, CSPs, and ISVs to leverage co-sell opportunities and joint GTM initiatives.
  • Solutioning Support:

    Collaborate with technical teams to develop proposals, SoWs, and pricing models.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    Develop and execute regional GTM plans and account strategies.
  • Reporting & Forecasting:

    Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365) to manage pipeline and forecast accurately.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or IT (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud services sales or business development in India.
  • Proven success in

    cold calling and outbound lead generation

    .
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and partner ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-305, SC-900) are a plus.
