Experience: Minimum 5 years in B2B Sales within Fintech / BFSI domain

Qualification:

  • Graduate / Post-Graduate in Business, Finance, or Technology
  • MBA / PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Finance preferred

Role Overview:

B2B sales of fintech products and digital solutions

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and onboard Public & Private Banks, NBFCs, and SFBs as clients for fintech products (e.g., digital lending platforms, payments, core banking APIs, AI/ML solutions, etc.).
  • Generate new business opportunities through consultative selling and strategic outreach.
  • Map client organizations and build relationships with decision-makers (CXOs, Product Heads, Digital Banking Heads, etc.).

2. Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for assigned territories or product lines.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets through pipeline management and conversion.
  • Work with product and marketing teams to position fintech solutions effectively.

3. Account Management & Relationship Building

  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation to deal closure and post-sales coordination.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with key clients to ensure renewals, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their pain points and recommending digital transformation solutions.

4. Product & Solution Expertise

  • Possess strong understanding of fintech offerings — payments, lending tech, KYC/AML, API banking, data analytics, or embedded finance.
  • Work closely with the product team to customize solutions as per client requirements.
  • Stay updated with fintech trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies in the BFSI ecosystem.

5. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Tech, Operations, Legal, and Product) for proposal preparation, demos, and contract finalization.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports, and forecasts.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to build market presence.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales within

    Fintech / Banking Technology / BFSI Solutions

  • Strong network across

    Banks, NBFCs, and SFBs

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and enterprise-level accounts
  • Understanding of

    Digital Lending, Payments, API Banking, or SaaS-based Fintech products

  • Analytical mindset with solution-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and MS Office Suite

Performance Metrics (KPIs):

  • New client acquisition (number of banks/NBFCs onboarded)
  • Revenue growth and sales target achievement
  • Customer satisfaction and retention rate
  • Conversion ratio from lead to closure
  • Contribution to product and solution enhancement through client feedback

Preferred Background:

  • 5+ years of experience in

    Fintech Sales / Enterprise Sales / B2B BFSI Solutions

  • Experience selling to

    CXOs / Digital Transformation / IT / Product teams

    in financial institutions
  • Background in companies offering

    Digital Lending Platforms, Payment Gateways, API Banking, or SaaS-based Financial Products
