Bartender/Server

Job Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for preparing, mixing, and serving beverages to guests while maintaining a clean and organized bar area. The role requires strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and service standards, ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional bar experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as per recipes and guest preferences.
• Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and ensure excellent service throughout.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar counter, glassware, and back area.
• Monitor bar inventory and assist in restocking supplies when needed.
• Follow responsible service of alcohol policies and verify guest age when necessary.
• Handle cash and POS billing accurately.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards (as per HACCP).
• Create a lively, engaging, and safe environment for guests.
• Assist in bar promotions, events, and menu development when required.
• Coordinate with service staff and kitchen for smooth operation during peak hours.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Bartender / Bar Executive in a hotel, lounge, or restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, wines, and spirits.
• Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
• Good grooming standards and a professional attitude.
• Certification in Bartending or Mixology preferred (not mandatory).
• Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

• Mixology and flair bartending.
• Beverage costing and stock control knowledge.
• Basic understanding of food pairing and wine service.
• Up-selling and guest engagement ability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
