Bartender

Job Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner. This role includes maintaining the bar area, ensuring proper stock levels, and providing excellent guest service to enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
• Engage with guests, take orders, and make personalized drink recommendations.
• Operate bar equipment (shakers, blenders, mixers, pourers) safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar counter, glassware, and tools.
• Monitor inventory and restock bar supplies such as garnishes, mixers, and liquor.
• Process payments using POS systems and ensure accurate billing.
• Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service laws and company policies.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.
• Assist in opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning the bar.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines (HACCP or equivalent).
• Maintain a friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bartender (1–2 years preferred).
• Knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage presentation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of wines, spirits, and beer.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good personal grooming and hygiene.
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours.
• Flexibility to work late hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (optional but preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
