Responsibilities:

Barista Duties:

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages according to company standards.
  • Trained in brewing techniques, latte art, and customer service.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the cafe's coffee preparation area.

Sales Management:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase cafe sales and revenue.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for coffee beans, equipment, and supplies.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.

Customer Service:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regular customers, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the cafe.

Team Leadership:

  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and excellence.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a barista in a fast-paced cafe environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.


Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Barista in a high-volume coffee shop
  • Excellent knowledge of coffee brewing and espresso equipment maintenance
  • Ability to create new and innovative coffee drinks
  • Good understanding of customer service principles and ability to provide excellent service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders at once
  • Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent or more higher degree.
  • Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred.
  • Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A polite, engaging personality.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
