Banquet Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for directing and motivating a team to provide high-quality service for events at JW Marriott Hotel Pune. Your role will involve monitoring financial and administrative responsibilities, ensuring asset protection, and communicating effectively with all stakeholders. Additionally, you will identify training opportunities and strategize to achieve goals. Key Responsibilities: - Projecting supply needs for the department such as china, glass, silver, buffet presentations, and props. - Applying knowledge of relevant laws to event management. - Understanding the impact of banquet operations on event success and maximizing customer satisfaction. - Adhering to and reinforcing all standards, policies, and procedures. - Maintaining sanitation levels and managing departmental inventories and equipment. - Using banquet beverage records to control costs and manage inventory. - Scheduling banquet service staff to meet forecast and service standards while maximizing profits. - Developing lasting relationships with groups to retain business and drive growth. Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or GED. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in event management, food and beverage, or a related professional area.
