Job Description

We are looking for a creative, skilled, and passionate Bakery Chef to join our growing culinary team at Heebee Coffee PVT Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods, ensuring consistency, taste, and presentation that aligns with our brand standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of bakery items including breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, and specialty desserts according to company recipes and standards.
  • Assist in the development of new baked products and seasonal menu items, offering creative ideas and feedback.
  • Ensure all bakery items meet high standards of taste, texture, and presentation before they reach customers.
  • Manage dough preparation, proofing, shaping, and baking with proper techniques.
  • Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients accurately to maintain recipe consistency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized baking area, ensuring tools, ovens, and equipment are sanitized and functioning properly.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene regulations, and HACCP guidelines to ensure safe and consistent production.
  • Monitor ingredient stock levels, receive bakery-related deliveries, and ensure proper labeling and storage of materials.
  • Ensure efficient usage of ingredients and help minimize wastage.
  • Assist junior baking staff and trainees by providing guidance and support when needed.
  • Collaborate with the café kitchen team during busy periods and assist with other food preparation tasks when required.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of baking techniques, seasonal ingredients, and industry trends to continually improve product offerings.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Bakery Chef/Baker required (minimum 1 year preferred).
  • Strong understanding of baking techniques, dough handling, pastry preparation, and oven operations.
  • Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creativity and passion for bakery arts with an eagerness to learn and innovate.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during peak hours.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long hours and handle heavy baking trays or equipment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
  • Ludhiana localites preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹240,000.00 per year
