Baker

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a wide range of bakery items, including bread, cakes, pastries, cookies, and desserts. You will ensure that all products meet our high standards for freshness, taste, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake bread, buns, rolls, cakes, cookies, pastries, and other baked goods.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
• Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, proofers, and dough sheeters safely.
• Monitor baking process to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Decorate and finish baked goods as required (icing, glazing, garnishing).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area and equipment.
• Manage inventory of baking supplies and report shortages.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times.
• Work closely with kitchen and service staff to fulfill daily orders and custom requests.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or relevant role (minimum 1–3 years preferred).
• Knowledge of various baking techniques and ingredients.
• Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency.
• Good understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Time management and multitasking skills.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Diploma or certification in Baking/Pastry Arts (preferred but not mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,233.97 - ₹22,000.00 per month
