Job Title: Senior Baker / Head Baker Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Baker with over 10 years of hands-on expertise in baking and pastry preparation. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of traditional and modern baking techniques, recipe development, and kitchen management. This role requires creativity, precision, and leadership skills to maintain the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, bake, and decorate a wide variety of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and specialty baked goods. Develop and test new recipes, ensuring innovation while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction. Supervise and train junior bakers, assistants, and kitchen staff. Monitor ingredient inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost control. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Manage daily baking operations, production schedules, and timely deliveries. Maintain and operate baking equipment, ensuring proper care and safety. Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus and customized bakery items. Uphold consistent quality standards and customer satisfaction. Requirements: Minimum 10 years of professional baking experience in commercial kitchens, hotels, or bakeries. Strong knowledge of bread-making, artisan baking, and pastry techniques. Ability to design and execute creative recipes. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations. Time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: Certification or diploma in Baking & Pastry Arts. Experience in managing a bakery or pastry section. Knowledge of bakery trends and specialty items.
