Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backup Administrator (L3 Support) to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in backup technologies including Commvault, Veeam, Simplivity, and Azure Cloud, with a strong focus on troubleshooting and resolving complex backup job failures across both on-premises and cloud environments.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 support for backup operations across enterprise environments

• Perform root cause analysis and deep dives into failed backup jobs (on-prem & Azure)

· Administer and optimize backup tools including Commvault, Veeam, and Simplivity

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot backup schedules, policies, and storage repositories

• Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless backup integration with Azure

• Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies aligned with business continuity plans

• Document incidents, resolutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing

• Participate in audits and compliance reviews related to data protection and backup integrity

• Provide mentorship and guidance to L1/L2 support teams
