Backend Developer_ IIoT

• Support global Miba Production Sites in the Area of Smart Factory.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Python (Flask, Django, Numpy, Pandas etc..).
• Collaborate with architects and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams in an agile environment using Azure DevOps.
• Work with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Ensure security, reliability, and performance of backend systems.
• Develop and maintain secure and scalable IIoT platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot IIoT deployments to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
• Good requirement understanding and work independently wherever necessary.
• Stay current with IIoT technologies and industry trends.
• Contribute to the development of innovative IIoT projects to meet client needs.
• Document technical solutions and maintain best practices.
• Implement clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Develop skills which are necessary for product delivery.

• University degree in computer science, Information Systems with strong focus on IIoT (or an equivalent education)
• Minimum 4-6 years of professional experience as a Backend developer.
• Experience in the Area of Industry 4.0, IIoT
• Strong proficiency in Python with experience in Flask and Django frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), including handling large-scale & time-series data.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and platform such as Azure DevOps.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with industrial automation and manufacturing environments.
• Experience with industry protocols i.e. OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT etc.
• Ability to work effectively in agile, globally distributed teams.
• Proven working experience in implementing IT solutions in the Area of Production
• Familiarity with DevOps culture and observability tools (e.g., Grafana).
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning concepts.
• Experience in developing AI powered applications is an added advantage.
