About the Role:

Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot and Java.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Implement microservices architecture and ensure service reliability and scalability.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and write efficient, optimized queries.
• Integrate with external APIs and third-party services.
• Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance with best practices.
• Write unit and integration tests for backend services.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Deploy and monitor applications in different environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+ preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework (Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Spring MVC).
• Strong understanding of REST API design principles.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORMs (Hibernate/JPA).
• Familiarity with Git, branching strategies, and agile development processes.
• Knowledge of Microservices and Containerization and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Understanding of application security best practices (JWT, OAuth2, etc.).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Understanding of caching (Redis, Hazelcast).
