Role Description This is a Remote role for a K-12 Coding Instructor at Code Mantra in Reston, VA. We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic coding instructors to teach kids aged 5 to 18 at Code Mantra . As an instructor, you will deliver engaging, live online coding classes to help students develop key skills in computer science and programming. Common class offerings include : Scratch, Python, Web development, C#, Unity, Blender, Minecraft Modding, Roblox Modding, Robotics, and more! Responsibilities: Teach coding lessons in languages such as Scratch, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS , and Java . Provide one-on-one or group lessons using interactive learning platforms. Create lesson plans, projects, and assessments based on our curriculum. Inspire creativity and problem-solving skills among students. Track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents. Attend training sessions to stay updated on best teaching practices. Requirements: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Scratch, JavaScript). Previous experience teaching or tutoring kids in coding is preferred.
