At SoftSync, we are building the next generation of relationship intelligence, replacing static CRMs with an AI-native platform. We’re now looking for a skilled Backend Developer to strengthen our remote team in India. You’ll be responsible for developing scalable backend systems that power our product, with a strong focus on data, cloud services, and reliability.

Responsibilities

Design and build GraphQL APIs using NestJS
Develop secure, performant backend services handling large-scale data
Integrate with Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and DynamoDB
Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and data teams to deliver full-stack features
Write modular, testable, and maintainable code
Build and manage microservices and background workers
Use Docker and Kubernetes for development, testing, and deployment
Maintain code quality with unit and integration testing (Jest, SuperTest, etc.)
Design, build, and maintain backend services with AWS
Develop efficient queries and data models in Postgres and DynamoDB
Implement containerized applications using Docker
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions
Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and documentation
Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Continuously improve architecture and suggest optimizations
Apply deep understanding of event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka)

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of experience in backend development
Proficiency with AWS services
Strong knowledge of Postgres and DynamoDB
Hands-on experience with Docker
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
