Backend Developer

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer (Python) with 1 5 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with modern Python frameworks, databases, and cloud-based environments, and should collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python
• Work with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models
• Integrate third-party APIs and internal services
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of backend systems
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities

• 1 5 years of hands-on experience in Python backend development
• Strong understanding of Python fundamentals and OOP concepts
• Experience with at least one backend framework:
  • Django / Flask / FastAPI
• Proficiency in REST API development
• Working knowledge of databases:
  • Relational: PostgreSQL / MySQL
  • Optional: MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Basic understanding of authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth)
• Familiarity with Git / version control systems
• Experience in writing unit tests and basic test automation

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Docker / containerization
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Understanding of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
