Backend Developer

As a Backend Developer at NTT DATA, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions with a strong focus on Java technologies. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring high performance and seamless integration. Your key responsibilities will include: - Develop and maintain web applications using Java frameworks such as Spring, SpringBoot, and JPA/Hibernate. - Build and manage server-side logic, APIs, and database integration. - Write clean, efficient, and testable code while adhering to best practices. - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software as needed. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer. In addition to the technical skills mentioned above, you are expected to have good communication skills and be ready to work in the 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM shift. You should also be flexible to work at the client location at Ramanujam IT park, Taramani, Chennai, and be prepared to work from the office in a hybrid work environment as full remote work is not an option. The expectation is for a full return to the office starting from Oct'25.
