Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are hiring a skilled Backend Developer with solid experience in backend technologies and Apache Kafka. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of building scalable, reliable backend systems. You’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on developing high-performance services and data-driven applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend systems and APIs.
• Implement and manage Kafka-based messaging systems for real-time data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, QA, and DevOps.
• Optimize code and systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architecture planning.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
• Ensure code quality with unit tests and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Proficient in one or more backend languages: Java, Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topic configuration, performance tuning).
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and Docker.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Exposure to logging/monitoring tools like ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
