About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Backend Developer (NestJS Mandatory) with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in NestJS (Node.js + TypeScript) and a solid understanding of API development, database management, and system optimization.

You will collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver robust and maintainable backend architectures that power modern web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using NestJS (mandatory requirement).
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices to support various applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, product, and QA for smooth feature delivery.
• Manage and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best development practices.
• Debug and troubleshoot production and development issues.
• Optimize backend performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, and peer code reviews.
• Contribute to documentation and maintain technical standards across the backend architecture.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional experience in Backend Development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in NestJS (mandatory), Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
• Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Excellent debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong understanding of backend security principles and performance tuning techniques.

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployment environments.
• Knowledge of GraphQL APIs and message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
• Prior experience in Agile/Scrum-based development environments.
