Backend Developer

Role Overview: As a Software Development Engineer-1 (SDE-1) Backend Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with front-end developers, writing clean and efficient code, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, and ensuring data consistency and security in databases. Your expertise in Strapi v4 or other headless CMS tools will be a valuable addition to our team. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. - Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Optimize applications for speed and scalability. - Work with databases to ensure data consistency and security. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes. - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Qualifications Required: - 13 years of experience in backend development using Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript. - Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming. - Familiarity with database systems such as PostgreSQL and MySQL. - Good understanding of Docker. - Strong knowledge of API integration with UI components. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, specifically tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. - Good knowledge of Git. - Familiarity with SonarQube for code quality and coverage. - Ability to quickly learn new technologies, coupled with good communication and teamwork skills.
