Backend Developer

Role Overview: Deutsche Bank is actively renewing its digital channels and has started strategic projects, including transitioning to Agile software development methodology. As a senior Back End Developer, you will utilize your Java design and development skills to lead a group of developers within a Squad. Your role will involve extensive use of Continuous Integration tools and practices as part of Deutsche Bank's digitalization journey. Key Responsibilities: - Strong Solution Design Capability - Develop, unit-test, integrate, deploy, maintain, and improve software - Perform peer code review - Actively participate in squad activities and ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-up/scrum meeting) - Actively participate in Dev chapter lead activities - Apply continuous integration best practices (SCM, build automation, unit testing, dependency management) - Collaborate with squad members to achieve objectives - Report progress/update Agile team management tools (JIRA/Confluence) - Manage individual task priorities and deliverables - Ensure quality of solutions provided - Contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities - Support the Product Owner, Analyst, and Scrum Master Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience - Proficiency in working with global and local teams in a collaborative Agile environment - Excellent knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot framework - Strong understanding of Microservices, Webservices (SOAP/REST), messaging (JMS/MQ), database (Oracle/MySQL), batch processing, security concepts, application servers (Tomcat/Wildfly), testing, and debugging - DevOps and problem-oriented mindset - Experience in functional design, technical design, and programming aligned with IT Application Life Cycle standards Additional Company Details: Deutsche Bank offers a range of benefits including flexible working arrangements, industry-relevant certifications sponsorship, and comprehensive insurance coverage for employees and dependents.
