Backend Developer Intern

2. Position Overview: Backend Developer Intern

We are looking for a motivated Backend Developer Intern to support our engineering team in building robust backend systems for web applications, dashboards, and internal tools. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced creative tech environment and eager to learn how real digital products are built, deployed, and scaled.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend logic for web applications, dashboards, and internal tools
• Build and maintain REST APIs for forms, authentication, and dynamic data flows
• Provide backend support for dynamic websites and custom feature modules
• Integrate third-party services such as Firebase, AWS S3, email or SMS APIs, and cloud storage platforms
• Assist with database structuring and perform CRUD operations
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and frontend engineering teams
• Debug, test, and ensure backend stability before deployment
• Follow clean coding practices and contribute to improving development workflows

4. Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate understanding of Node.js with Express or Python with FastAPI or Django
• Familiarity with backend fundamentals such as routes, controllers, middleware, and database connections
• Experience working with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Firebase
• Ability to build and consume REST APIs
• Understanding of Git and GitHub, Postman, and basic cloud deployments such as AWS, Firebase, or Vercel
• Strong problem solving, debugging, and analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Availability for a 4 to 6-month full-time on-site internship at Okhla Phase 3 with a potential for a Pre-Placement Offer

Good to Have:

• Exposure to AWS services such as S3, EC2, or Lambda
• Basic understanding of Docker, CI or CD pipelines, or deployment workflows
• Knowledge of role-based authentication and access control
• Interest in scalable backend architecture
