X-Ack is a cybersecurity startup developing an AI-driven, hands-on learning platform. We are building a secure, scalable system designed for real-world application in cybersecurity training. Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and PostgreSQL Design and implement secure, scalable backend architecture Write scripts for automation and internal tools Collaborate with the team to build and deploy product features Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability Key Requirements Proficient in Node.js with practical backend development experience Strong understanding of PostgreSQL — schema design, indexing, performance tuning Experience designing backend systems or APIs Comfortable with scripting for automation or infrastructure tasks Familiarity with Docker , Git, and CI/CD workflows Ability to write clean, well-structured, and secure code Preferred Qualifications Experience with designing in architecture Understanding of authentication flows (e.g., JWT, OAuth2) Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, DigitalOcean, IBM Cloud) Interest in cybersecurity Why Join Us Meaningful Work: Build infrastructure for an innovative cybersecurity platform Impact: Contribute directly to product development in a lean team Growth: Gain exposure to modern tools and challenging backend architecture Remote Flexibility: Work in a results-driven, remote-first environment
