Job Description

Job Role: Backend Developer (Team Lead)

Location: Pune/Bavdhan

Position: In Office Role

Experience: 6 - 8 years

Education Criterion: BE/BTech/ME/MTech in CS/IT/EnTc


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance server-side applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and Nest.js, specifically tailored for the financial brokerage industry.
  • Implement and optimize RESTful APIs for integration with

    Order Management Systems (OMS)

    ,

    Risk Management Systems (RMS)

    , and

    BackOffice solutions

    .
  • Develop and manage

    partners' API integrations

    with various financial service providers, exchanges, and third-party vendors.
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to store and manage critical financial data.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Digital Ocean, GCP) with a focus on security, reliability, and scalability for financial applications.
  • Develop and maintain modules for

    Exchange connectivity

    , ensuring low-latency and high-throughput data processing.
  • Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements for brokerage platforms.
  • Ensure the performance, security, and compliance of all backend services, adhering to financial industry regulations.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, emphasizing resilient and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across integrated systems, including external API calls and exchange feeds.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Nest.js.

  • Demonstrable experience or strong understanding of the broker-tech domain, including OMS, RMS, and BackOffice functionalities.

  • Experience with financial market data feeds and exchange APIs is highly desirable.

  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture in a financial context.


Candidates preferred who have an experience in Stockbroking Firms.
