Requirements Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based networking solutions in Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure networking components, including Azure Firewall, Virtual WAN (vWAN), hub-and-spoke architecture, and Azure Disaster Recovery (ASR). This role is critical to ensuring the security, scalability, and resilience of our cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Deep understanding of Azure networking concepts, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, and DNS. Design, deploy, and maintain Azure-based network infrastructures including VNets, Azure Firewall, NSGs, Application Gateways, and Load Balancers. Implement and manage Azure Virtual WAN and hub-and-spoke network topologies to support scalable and secure connectivity across regions. Implement and configure Azure Firewall, Firewall policies, route tables, and UDRs (User Defined Routes) to enforce secure traffic flow. Integrate on-premises networks with Azure using VPN Gateway and ExpressRoute. Implement Azure Site Recovery (ASR) for business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) strategies. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network-related issues using Azure Network Watcher, Traffic Analytics, and Log Analytics. Collaborate with security teams to ensure network compliance with security policies and industry standards. Create and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, runbooks, and configuration guidelines. Provide input on cloud governance, cost optimization, and resource tagging related to networking resources. Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep. Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher for monitoring and diagnostics. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in Azure networking or cloud infrastructure engineering. Deep understanding of Azure networking concepts, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, and DNS. Proven experience implementing Azure Firewall in production environments. Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual WAN and hub-and-spoke architecture. Strong knowledge of Azure Site Recovery (ASR) for disaster recovery scenarios. Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep. Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher for monitoring and diagnostics. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Azure certifications such as AZ-700 (Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions), AZ-104, or AZ-305. Experience with hybrid cloud solutions and integration of on-prem networks with Azure. Working knowledge of security best practices and network segmentation in cloud environments.
