Role Overview

Azure Platform Infrastructure Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Azure infrastructure services including VMs, networking, storage, backups, and monitoring.
• Manage Azure Active Directory, RBAC, identity governance, and access controls.
• Configure and monitor Azure security tools such as Security Center, Defender, and firewalls.
• Implement disaster recovery, backup, and high‑availability solutions.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, ARM templates, or Terraform.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

• Support presales activities

  including requirement gathering, solution design inputs, effort estimation, and technical presentations.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams

  to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and architecture recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–4 years of hands‑on experience in Azure infrastructure administration.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, storage, identity, and monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and IaC tools (Terraform / ARM / Bicep).
• Experience with Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and monitoring solutions.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.

• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting RFP/RFI responses or technical proposals.
