About The Role

We are seeking an experienced

Azure DevOps / SysOps Engineer

with 6+ years of hands-on experience in managing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation. You will work closely with our development teams to support

Next.js frontend

and

.NET backend

applications hosted on

Azure App Services and Azure VMs

, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure: App Services, VMs, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Networking, Load Balancers, and Monitoring.
Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for Next.js and .NET applications.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
Configure automated deployments, environment setups, release pipelines, and versioning.
Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Ensure security best practices: RBAC, identity & access management, secrets management (Key Vault), and compliance standards.
Troubleshoot issues across production, staging, and development environments.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and deployment workflows.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure, architecture, and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of experience as DevOps Engineer / SysOps Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
Proficient in Azure DevOps CI/CD (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts).
Experience supporting Next.js (or React) and .NET applications.
Strong knowledge of Azure App Service, Azure VMs, Azure Networking, and Key Vault.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting.
Experience with Docker and container-based deployments.
Strong understanding of monitoring & logging (Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
Knowledge of security, identity, RBAC, and compliance in Azure.
Good understanding of CI/CD best practices, branching strategies, and release management.

Good To Have Skills

Experience with Kubernetes (AKS).
Knowledge of GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Familiarity with Next.js optimization, caching, and deployment practices.
Experience with load testing, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
Understanding of zero-downtime deployments and blue/green strategies.
Experience with Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management.
Certification such as AZ-104, AZ-400 or similar.
