About the Role

Azure DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for scalable and secure deployments.
Configure, monitor, and optimize
networking and storage solutions
within Azure.
Deploy, manage, and maintain Kubernetes clusters with a focus on scalability, performance, and availability.
Implement and manage
ISTIO service mesh
for internal networking, security, and routing in Kubernetes environments.
Develop and execute
Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies
ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate DevOps best practices across the lifecycle.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and container-related issues.
Monitor system performance, ensuring infrastructure reliability, scalability, and compliance with security standards.
Contribute to automation initiatives for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and scaling.

Mandatory Skills

Azure DevOps
– CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure management, and automation
Networking DevOps
– Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, VPNs, Firewalls
Storage DevOps
– Azure Storage Accounts, Blob, Files, Managed Disks
Kubernetes
– Deployment, monitoring, scaling, and orchestration
ISTIO
– Internal networking, service routing, security, and observability in Kubernetes
Disaster Recovery Strategy
– Backup, replication, failover design, and testing
Strong expertise in Linux/Windows administration, scripting (PowerShell/Bash/YAML)
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and collaborative team practices

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools
Knowledge of container security best practices
Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP)
Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor)
